In an effort to be able to supply every type of quality service possible to our customers Lithium Logistics have just taken delivery of their new SDC extendable trailer which can extend to a whooping 21 metres in length for carrying specialist loads that need to be supported at either end.

The trailer is fitted with BPW axles, together with the front and rear axles steering so it has superb manoeuvrability when delivering in a city or town environment.

When not using the extendable feature, the trailer returns to a standard 13.6 metre configuration and has side and centre posts to safely transport loads that require this extra feature to restrain goods from moving around.

Lithium Logistics have taken delivery of a new XF DAF 26 tonne rigid truck with a specialist “Truck Hydraulics” 30 feet long flat body.

The vehicle was specified with a “cheese wedge” hydraulic folding platform, so it can load any type of plant equipment or forklift truck, as well as carrying a 20 foot container or loads that normally would be moved on a flat platform truck.

It is fitted with the latest camera safety equipment to enable it to operate in the centre of London or any City with strict safety regulations and runs on Hydrated Vegetable Oil which reduces emissions by as much as 90% compared with diesel oil.
